Great Vietnamese Food!. My wife and I have lived in Hixson, TN for a while now and just not made it out to the local Vietnamese restaurant Old Saigon. I've never had Vietnamese food before, but my wife's South East Asian Cultures Professor said it's the most authentic he's had.

What a great experience! The service was great. The lady who seems to own it and do a lot of the work herself was fun and personable.

The food was great. Simple, yet flavorful. The spring rolls were the best we've ever had. The mango and sticky rice was not only unique but beats out the local Thai restaurants. We got the pho (pronounced fa) for our entree and once we made it a bit spicy and mixed it up it was just delicious.

They also have a great selection of Asian beers.

I'll be going back. A lot.

Just great. I learned about Vietnamese food in the late '70's in San Pedro (L.A) CA. I frequented a wonderful small very authentic restaurant there for two years, trying everything on the menu and every special that was served. Old Saigon is the first Vietnamese restaurant to equal those experiences in 25+ years. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Friendly service with a smile. Good food, healthy, tasty, and the best comfort food in town. If you want a quiet, peaceful meal, with enough food to keep you satisfied, stop in to Old Saigon. When you leave you realize that you have found a place that is more interested in serving you with a smile and wanting you to come back to visit. I always enjoy my meal and good conversation with Rosa and I keep wanting to go back for another tasty treat. My favorite meals are L1 and then the Curry Chicken.

I love this place!. Not only do they have exceptional food and great service. This has to be the cleanest restaurant in Chattanooga. It is usually not too busy, service is quick and very friendly. It is family owned and they always make sure to have nice relaxing asian music in the background. I highly recommend!
