Under New Ownership!!!. Amigo in Hixson is under new ownership and is looking to make a great impression on new and old customers. Many of the old staff that were working when the old reviews were posted have been replaced. We have a new General Manager and a New Kitchen Manager that are eager to please the customer.

Our chips and salsa are prepared fresh everyday, as are all of our products that we use. We buy from many local vendors and take much pride in that fact. We also have a new Menu and are offering many new dishes.

Happy Hour goes from 3:00pm - 9:00pm 7 days a week!

We offer $2.00 32oz Domestic Drafts, Half Price House Margaritas (frozen or on the rocks), and Half Price House Sangria.

Currently undergoing some remodeling to update the dated look, since the restaurant has been in operation for over 6 years, which is being done little by little.

Come and Experience our style of Mexican Cuisine!

Worst Mexican food and service. When our food arrived it was cold and tasteless. After it arrived we had to ask for a napkin and silverware.

The waiter acted as though he was doing us a favor. Very unfriendly place.

Don't go here for a special event! Don't take a date here! In fact, unless you're in the mood to be treated poorly and desire to trash your food, don't go here at all.

You'd be much better off going to Taco Bell.

We'll never eat there again.

Poor Food-Poorer Service. My wife and I went for lunch recently, after the lunch rush was over. There were very few customers, so the staff was not busy. My food was so salty, I could hardly eat it, and my wife's' dish was incorrect. When we complained to the waitress, she had the audacity to argue with my wife about her dish, the SAME dish my wife orders each time! When we requested to speak to the manager, she deliberately kept us waiting, and was unbelievably haughty, and argued with my wife about her order. I told this manager, who refused to correct their mistake, we would not return, ever!

she told me that she could not care less, so I assume Amigo's has customers to spare. There are too many Mexican Cantinas in town, as good or better than Amigo's, to ever have to tolerate that rudeness and poor service.
