Good Upscale Food

I have eaten at the Boathouse for years and always have had good service and great food!!! They are an upscale restaurant. If you are used to eating at Mickie D's, you may not want to try them! I love the roasted chicken sandwich with fried okra! My husband loves the fried catfish!! Yum!!!

Not much to offer

The wait was terribly long....once we were seated, no one came for over 5 minutes. My husband and I got up and left!!!! While waiting with no service, we looked over the menu and decided O'Charley's even offers a better menu with much better prices. Save your money and go somewhere else!!!!!!!

with great service, delicious food and the most amazing view, The Boathouse stands alone as one of the pillars of the Chattanooga experiance. The Voodo chicken is so original and the shrimp are giagantic!! (Well worth the price). If you like rotisserie, there is simply no better place in town to find it. And talk about oysters!! The menu is reasonably priced and the SHORT wait times are well worth it. My advice is to go and get an outside table during sunset....WOW!! The only downside in my opinion was a rude customer who was giving the waitress such a hard time and who, by the look on the waitress's face, must have ripped her off on the tip to boot (18% for good service people). Oh well, can't please everyone. The Boathouse staff, however, comes mighty close to doing just that.
