You must try the squid!. Anyone who can give this place a less than 5 star review must have suffered a horrible taste-bud accident. The flavors were a perfect combination of light and savory. The fresh sides (tomatoe & feta, black beans and rice, etc) were exceptional! If you are expecting chain restaurant wood grilling, hold your horses. This is real wood grilling. You can even taste the subtle bite in the bread.

The seafood was delicate. The chicken was phenomenal. My only regret was that I could only eat so much.

Wonderful Food!. We were in the mood for seafood, so we tried this place and it did not disappoint. My salmon was great with some wonderful dipping sauces. My husband had oysters and catfish, and loved his as well. If we're ever in Chattanooga again, we will go back to the Boathouse!

Wow! What an awesome dining experience. Boathouse Grill is a wonderful restaurant. The quality of the food is outstanding. The scenery just can't be beat, right on the Tenn. River. What a view. If you like oysters, raw or cooked and smothered in garlic, you'll be in heaven. You won't leave hungry. They have a wonderful rotisserie chicken and some outrageously different quesadillas. We loved it.

Maybe.... ... if you're into the raw bar it may be better, otherwise my high hopes from the descriptions in the menu left me wanting a little more. The menu plays them off to be a bit of a Mississippi Delta/Gulf Coast cusine, but everything seemed a little bland and too classly to be presented correctly. I guess I'll just have to head back to MS for the good stuff.
