Excellent experience!. After living in Japan for two years I'm finicky about Japanese food. I was leery about eating sushi in such a small inland city, but decided to check it out. The owner is Japanese and he personally checked every sushi order that went out while I was there. The sushi that I was served was perfect. The pieces sized properly, the fish very fresh, the composition flawless and the plating appetizing. The server warned me that if I ordered something containing "crab" it would be "krab" unless I specified that I wanted real crab. Fine with me, that's pretty much the standard in Japan anyway and I'm allergic to shellfish. I was delighted with my entire experience and am looking forward to returning often.

Well, I've had worse.... I just moved to the area and was excited to see so many sushi restaurants in Chattanooga. I've tried several, and was not impressed with Sushi Nabe. I tried several rolls, and all were rather dry. They used "crab" instead of actual crab in the California roll. One of the rolls didn't even stick together. There wasn't eel sauce on the eel roll... This place isn't terrible...it's just not good.

Great Sushi!. Been going here for years, newer location is a wonderful stop while hanging out at coolidge park!
