Great Food with a touch of entertainment.. I had the steak, chicken & shrimp. Started with the fried rice, was good. Then came the veges to make it better, then came the steak, (even better) the chicken, then the shrimp. Believe me when I say each food that came up next made the meal even better.

Our cook was actually Mexican and didn't want to talk too much in the beginning. (trying to conserve his nationality?) His food more than made up for his quietness, though, and once we got him talking was a blast!

Was a good time with great food. Will eat there again, and will recommend to any/everybody. As for the vegetarian who posted before me? Not sure how all that came about, but it IS a STEAK House? Our service was excellent. The only prob was the sprite being nothing but carbonated water, notified the waitress, took a while to get another one, but was right on, and no sooner did I set my finished drink down, there was another being set in front of me.

Ichiban is not a good place for Vegetarians.. On their menu they have a vegetarian dish, but it comes with things like chicken soup and flaming shrimp. When we asked for a substitute for those things, we were told, "That is what comes with the dinner, you can either eat it or not." The waitress told us that we could order a vegetarian soup for $2 extra. We then asked for the manager who offered to exchange the soup for free, but they still would not exchange the shrimp (even for something as simple as fried rice).

All of those problems aside, the food was also sub standard. I have had much better food at other hibachi restaurants.

They have terrible customer service and their food could be better. I will not go there again.

Awesome food, service, atmosphere. Tried Formosa next to it...save the time, go right to Ichiban. ALWAYS good food !!!! Fun atmosphere and something to get excited about doing. My whole family loves going here, even my extremely picky daughter. This is the only place we can go where she will actually eat her left overs and in fact, orders enough so she will have left overs to eat.
