NOT THE TRUTH. Actually I am said therapist, and I had nothing to do with the previouse reviews, they were before my time there. Experience it for your self, some are good some are not just like all spas, however the owner should take the info and grow up not point fingers, that is just stupid! Sorry Cindy you need to grow up now.

This is a place to inform people of good or bad services not a place for personal attacks- especially by a "professional"

Perfect Everytime. My wife and I have been going here for several years and have always enjoyed great massages and manicure/pedicures. I think most of their business comes from the local community because it is a about a 15 minute drive up Lookout Mtn from Chattanooga, but well worth it. I mainly use Tammy for my massages and was a little concerned about the a previous review about her. I informed Cindy, the owner about it and she said she knew and after looking at the persons other reviews determined that it was a disgruntled therapist who was unable to get along with the staff and had to be let go. She said she had tried to get CitySearch to remove the post, but they wouldn't give a responce. That made sense because Tammy has always given me great massages everytime. My wife also says that Brandi and Lesley give resort style pedicures.

The drive is better than the massage.. It's a nice drive up the mountain, but the masseuse that I had was mediocre at best. It was certainly not worth the price paid.

Wonderful friendly skilled service. I had a haircut which turned out beautifully. My boyfirend had a deep tissue massage by Tammy and he loved it. The people at the spa have very good energy and they make you feel comfortable and cared for.

average spa, bad service. Was excited to recieve a GC for this spa, made my appointment and was thrilled at the wonderful alternatives to just plain massage they offered.

The drive though FAR was nice, very clean and friendly until my massage with Tammy! Apparently she can not do any of the services I was informed of! I travel alot and get massages weekly in several locations; this was by far the worst service I have ever had, just terrible! ANd the therapist clearly had an attitude when she explained it was not HER who could do these things!

I did have other services this day all of which were good or above average, and all the staff otherwise were wonderful, will return and recommend but NEVER to see TAMMY again, ask for anyone else! OR leave with a bad taste in your mouth!!!!!!

Best Day Spa in Chattanooga!. I don't know what spa "oxfordmillsgroup" is talking about, because I visit Mountain Escape Spa everytime I'm in the Chattanooga area and always enjoy a fantastic massage! Rachel and Tammy are both highly trained and experienced in both deep tissue and relaxation massage. I frequently receive massages across the country and can say without hesitation that the ones I get at Mountain Escape are some of the best. My wife enjoys manicures,pedicures and facials there and tells me the quality and thoroughness of the services are second to none. If you want an outstanding service without navigating all the downtown traffic in Chatanooga, make your way up Lookout Mountain to Mountain Escape Spa, you won't regret it.

Cozy, comfortable, capable.... Mtn Escape Sap was a refreshing change from the some of the big franchise spas I've been to lately. The atmosphere was clean, cozy, peaceful, relaxing and friendly. My massage with Rachael was incredible, the best I've had in Chattanooga!!!

Inexpensive but mediocre!. My husband have visited numerous spas; we both agreed this was the worst ever. I had a maternity massage. My untrained husband could have done almost as well, and the therapist put a lotion on my neck that made me itch and scratch throughout the whole session. I developed a short-lived chemical burn. My husband's deep tissue was equally disappointing. We are not picky people! Stay away.
