Fun Place. Wife and I enjoyed the meal and the entertainment here in September of 2008. Steaks were terrific and the singing waiters/waitresses were incredibly talented. It reminded us of another restuarant in Flagstaff AZ-Black Barts. We'll be back next time we're in Chattanooga.

GREAT PLACE FOR A PARTY. We celebrated my wonderful daughter in laws 22 birthday there last night. There was 10 of us. I had the Prime Rib with au ju , garlic mashed potatoes included unlimited salad bar and rolls. All was excellent. The entertainment was top notch. All singers were the waiters and waitress's.Sang many oldie but goodies. They even personalize some of the songs and come out in the diner to sing to someone. We were there for about 3 hours. It was so much fun. Also it was neat seeing the grounds and the Choo Choo. Don't go if you are in a hurry to get served.

great place for good food and entertainment. I live in Chattanooga, and love going to the Station House. We go alot and have never had any bad service, food or entertainment. The salad bar is good, shrimp is excellent and the prime rib is great.

Really bad food. We were a party of 8. The salad bar was OK. but the cuts of meat were of the lowest grade of beef on the market. we all ordered either med rare or rare NY strips . Therefore , no overcooking can be blamed for the tough, tasteless meat.The bill is another story in itself . Archimedes couldn't figure out the method used to determine the check amount.

I love this place!. I have been 3 or 4 times, every time I have went I recieved GREAT service, tasty food and excellent entertainment! I cant wait to go back again. The last time I was there was I year ago when my husband asked me to marry him!! If your in Chattanooga .. you HAVE to go eat here!!

Avoid the Station House -- Tourist Trap. The Station House offers overpriced food at a tourist trap. The service was less than second rate, as all the servers also 'peform' with the band at one time or another. I wasn't told that salad bar came with the meal and only found out by overhearing another waiter tell his customers.

At $17 you would expect a double pork chop and not a single and the meat was not well cooked. Avoid.

Uh Oh - Lots of Changes in Last 20 years. My husband and I went for our 1st anniversary - I was last there 20 years ago with my parents - Our reservation was not held as I was told it would be - Service was slow at best - It took 20 minutes to place drink orders - Ou food was slow to come out too (my prime rib was dry and hubby's potatoes tasted funny) - then our server dissappeard and did not return until she brought out check - we had actually wanted desert, but soon changed our minds - I believe we would have enjoyed our first anniversary better in a fast food restaurant!

Great Food Great Fun. My husband and I have eaten at the Station House many times. We enjoy the food and the entertainment. It's a great place for special occations. The menu has a good selection of entrees.

The Station In Top 3 In U.S.A.. For over 8 years in our business we continually traveled. We have been in all 48 states, many multiple times, and eaten at thousands of restaurants. We found 3 steak restaurants, which we feel, are the best 3 in the U.S.A. We live in SE Alabama, BUT I was born and reared in Houston, Texas TEXAS, where steak is sacred. The Station in Chattanooga, TN, is definitely in the top three. The other two are located in Panama City Beach, Florida, and Niagara Falls, NY.

Of course, if you eat your steak well done, most any restaurant will do, as over cooking highly degrades the taste, and the meat quality. Some steak specialty restaurants have a disavowal of quality, and taste if one orders steak well done!
