Best Experience EVER!. My husband and I needed a romantic weekend getaway and we found our place! Lovely appetizers and happy hour in the main hall; quiet library to sit and read in or just listen to the nice music. It was very easy to relax and loose track of time here! The innkeeper is there to help you with any request you may have! The rooms are very nicely decorated and it was the best night's sleep ever! Then you wake to a 3 course breakfast. This is 5 star dining experience (for breakfast!) and it is included in your room fee. You must stay here! We all deserve to be pampered!

Set high on the hill on Vine Street, this 1899, cut-stone, three-story B&B proudly honors the Select Registry distinction that has been bestowed upon it. The 18-room mansion, erected by a former mayor, has become known over the years for its air of intimacy and romance.

The Details
Refurbished with real antiques and period color-schemed wallpaper, this mammoth home leaves you breathless when you view such intense details as the massive working fireplace at the end of the foyer--just one of three that are kept well-stoked during the season. This is definitely the place to be when the colors change on the surrounding hardwoods. The innkeepers reside on the terrace level ... available, but out of the way. Enjoy weekend social hour with complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres, and three-course gourmet breakfasts prepared by the executive chef. Among many amenities available are tickets to local attractions.
