We recently ordered Shuford's to go and I can honestly say they have amazing customer service. The food was really good. The tator logs were delicious. The ribs were very tender. I can't wait to have a chance to check out the inside. Will definitely be going there again, soon!!

STAY AWAY FROM SHUFORDS!!!!!. Please don't let any of these other reviews fool you. We have had better BBQ out of a can. We knew something was wrong when the cook was using nothing but microwaves to cook with. The only thing we would recommend were the fries. We had the combo plate with ribs and pulled pork. The ribs were so tuff they could not be chewed, same goes for the pulled pork. If this is what you people call good BBQ you have another thing comin'. Keep in mind this is coming from a person who is not picky at all. We should have asked for our money back.....GO TO NIKI'S......SO MUCH BETTER....GET THE SCHRIMP!!!

Really, really good. It looks like not much from the outside. On the inside, not much different. The most outstanding this is the huge amount of University of Alabama football stuff on the walls. The barbecue is fantastic and though you won't have room, you have to bust your gut to get down the heavenly banana pudding. Awesome food and service all around.

Best BBQ in Chattaboogie. I'm a Chattanooga native now living on the West Coast. When I bring people back to Chatta for a visit, I always take them to Shuford's for BBQ. The sauce is AMAZING, and the meat is always smoked to perfection. It may not be the biggest or fanciest BBQ joint in town, but it is without a doubt THE BEST.
