No Better Place. There is no better place to stay than the Sky Harbor Bavarian Inn while in the Chattanooga Area. The staff goes out of their way to please and it is conveinent to to everything and my wife refers to it as one of the best romantic stops ever. Overlooking the beautiful Tennessee River we have made it a yearly stop for us when traveling and sometimes more often than that. It is a see to believe. On side of Look Out Mountain our entire family loves it and we recomend it year round. Try the little resataurant at the top of the mountain. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. There are many hidden secrets to the area we find some place new to visit every year. From Raccon Mountain to Ruby Falls, the Aquarium and of course the railroad museum and paddleboat ride. I am so impressed with the staff because they will even help you find these places and recomend new ones then tell you how to get there. Even when looking for a place to get away for just one night or weekend this seems to be one of the places for us. We jump in the car and three hours later we are relaxing. May I also suggest if coming in from the South West or the North East to use US HWY 11. Especially during the fall color change. The view is unrivaled.

Rude. I didn't actually stay there. I had to call to cancel a reservation at which point the receptionist sat the phone down and said, "Why don't they wait till they know what the hell they're doing?" loud enough for me to hear it very clearly. After e-mailing the management about the rude behavior, there was no response. This is obviously not a business that cares about getting my future business, and they won't.

honeymooners delight. We stayed at the Sky Harbor two times about 2 yrs ago. When we went to Fla. and then again when we just wanted to see Tenn. in the fall. I love this inn because the people that own it are very nice and pleasant. The view of horseshoe bend of the Tenn. River just blows my mind. We are thinking of a July vac. and want to spend it there.
