Beware of this place.
One star is not low enough. Was there with my Mom and other family members. Happened to sit next to my Mom and (although my sense of smell is almost nil) I smelled putrid fish on my Mom's plate and stopped her before she could eat it. When I took it back and complained there was no apology, no remorse, no concern on the part of the staff. We left and I will not go back. At the one downtown on Broad it was as if we were invisible when ordering inside -- while people of other skin color were very visible and eagerly served.

Fast food seafood and Southern fare with all the trimmings at reasonable prices..
In Short
What started off in Donelson, Tenn. as "Mr. D's" in 1969 has evolved into fast food chain "Captain D's" with restaurants across more than 20 states. Touting high quality and quick-service seafood and traditional Southern fare as its mission, the menu offers hand-battered fried, baked, broiled fish, shrimp and chicken dishes. Starters include cheese sticks and jalapeno bites, seafood-stuffed crab shells and side items like corn, baked potato, coleslaw, tossed salads, hushpuppies and desserts.
