Stay away from these people. I have been a customer for 11 years and today when I took my small dog in with back problems, I was treated very badly. She needed some xrays and sedation therapy, which was going to take several hours. The nurse was very kind and told me that I could leave and when she was coming out of sedation they would call me to return. On my way out the door, one of the ladies asked me how much deposit I was going to pay before I left. I was shocked. I had been bringing several of my animals there for 11 years and had never been asked this before. I told her that I would pay the entire bill by credit card when I picked my dog up. At this time, a man stepped up and stated that they would not do any procedure without a 50% down payment. Even if I waited in the office (didn't leave) they had to have this up front. That I could be a dead beat, leave and never come back. I told him to GIVE ME MY DOG! The nurse brought me my dog and told me she was sorry. The man followed me to my car, shouting at me that he would get a judgment against me and ruin my credit. I called him a jerk, he told me to get off his property.-------These people are more concerned about there money than they are about ANY sick animal!
I took my service dog to this location
for cremation, and the name on her urn came back misspelled. As I didn't want to pay for a service I didn't receive correctly until the mistake had been corrected I asked for a refund until they corrected their error. I was assured by 3 office people (I kept getting transferred) that it could be done but I had to wait 24 hours in order for this to take place. I then called back in their time frame and the Office manager Morris got on the phone and told me that he was refusing my request and then called me a liar. I was then berated by him and told that I could pick up my dogs remains the next morning that they would have the issue corrected. I never received a call back except to accuse me of having someone call them and to threaten to file harassment charges against me with the police when in fact this NEVER happened. I called at 1pm and was told that my dog wasn't in and wouldn't be in until 4pm, at 5 I called back and was told "Oh we were just about to call you". I asked for all of the medical records for my two cats and was given a printout of bills that had been paid, I then had to call for the records and was told that the request had to be approved by the vet.
I am disgusted with them and as my dog was a service animal this only tarnished the dignity she had. I will never take any animal back there and would be careful if you do. Their vets might be ok but their Office Manager is a mean spirited man who gets jollys from harassing people who just lost a dog of 14 years, and their front office doesn't seem to know what they are doing.

Animal Clinic East is WONDERFUL!! I have been taking my to rescue dogs there sense I got them over two years ago... When I got my first pup, Kalli, she had some major stomach problems and I was in there almost ever week. They treated her with love and care and knew us by name.. she was and still is so excited to go see her friends and the vet. As for my other dog, he is a wild lab puppy and he is a big ball of crazy. once he jumped up on the counter and knocked over all the stuff that was on it... I was so embarrassed but they treated it as though it happens all the time and still are happy to see my crazy dog.
Our latest major issue with our dogs was that Samson, our crazy lab, ended up having a rupture because he swallowed a black walnut whole and because of that his stomach was bloating. That morning we took him in terrified for our lil man and they rushed him into surgery and saved his life. We have been in and made many calls sense the surgery to make sure he is healing properly and making sure everything is ok. They are not only patient with me (the over concerned mama!) but also, they don't charge us unless they have to. There have been many times that we have gone in and not been charged because we have been in numerous times that week/month... These vets, techs and staff are 100% amazing and anyone who says differently is insane.
