Pretty good, but.... I have been a HB client for many years. My first stylist was Jaime and he is excellent, I highly recommend him, then I went to Beth, she is great at cuts and color! I really loved her job until they started double-booking her and she would tell the assistant to mix and apply the color. So a trainee did everything and Beth only cut my hair, then again, the trainee blow-dried and styled.

My hair was fried one time, and broke off. I am sure if Beth performed a service it would not have happened.

I am not a difficult client, but if I make an appointment with Beth I want Beth to be my stylist, esp. considering that every time I pay $160-$180. So I am not going to pay that kind of money anymore for some school graduate to practice her techniques on me!

use your own judgement. I have been a client of HBI for several years now. I have always had a fabulous experience every time -from booking appointments to the variety of services they offer.

When i read these bad reviews I wonder if these people are gong to the SAME salon???

I cant imagine anyone who is unsatisfied with services or product of any business would not handle their concerns at the time of services ????? that is your right as a customer. And from my experience most professional businesses want you to be pleased and will make the best efforts to resolve and keep you as a customer.

I have to stand by HBI , they have always been courteous and professional. JUDGE FOR YOURSELF.

a waiting game. I will never every go to HBI again. Overbooked, the excuse is if an another client is late then you pay the price. Thank goodness that I left. I notice bad cuts and worst color. Why do so many go there, because they never been out of Chattanooga.

Hair Benders - The Michael Angelo of Beauty!. I have been going to Hair Benders forever. As a personal trainer i could trade out services and get my hair done for free but then i would not look as sassy.

Highly Recomended Hair Salon. I have been a client of Hair Benders for the past 4 years. I have received nothing but professional service every time I go. Jamie, my hair dresser, always greats me with a smile and I have NEVER waiting beyond my appointment time. He always takes the time, without neglecting other clients, to ask me what I would like to do with my hair. It's okay to have a bad experience but no one has the right to slander a business. People should always see for themselves and not go by what others feel. If the level of service is not up to your expectation you should always speak to the owner and try to resolve the situation. So all of you out there who have not tried Hair Benders give it a try. Be open with your hair dressers and express your thoughts on what you would like and I will guarantee you will not be dissatisfied. I am very fussy about my hair and I have yet to leave the salon disappointed. Make your own judgment.

Bobby Fairbanks is the best!. I just went to see Bobby at HB yesterday. It was my first time seeing him(I had been to HB about a year ago and saw a different stylist that I was disappointed with). Anyway, I did not have to wait over 10 minutes to see him. He was very friendly, sat me in front of a mirror and asked what I had in mind while running his hands through my hair. He really listened to me and looked at an old photo of myself that I brought as reference. He told me what he recommended and had a shampoo girl come get me. After she put me in his chair he proceeded to cut my hair with about 6 different sets of scissors for certain areas and was very meticulous about cutting evenly. He carried on a nice conversation with me about our childhoods and business interests but still paid close attention to my haircut. He personally styled my hair also and I have to say that he is the only stylist ever who has been good at styling as well as cutting my hair. He used some hair product warmed in his finger tips before and after blowing my hair out but he is the first one to not attack me with a giant bottle of hairspray afterwards. He patted my arm and told me what a pleasure it was to have met me on my way out...he never pressured me to color my hair or buy any products. In response to the girl who said that you will have problems getting an appointment for just a cut, I got my appointment in a couple days from making it. Also, I am pretty sure that Flowerchild does not work at HB due to her comment about the customers that go downstairs and how those stylists are just out of beauty school...the owner Bobby is downstairs. HB is not just the salon of the moment....it has been around for 30 years when Bobby first began it by himself and it is so successful for a reason. If you weren't going to get the best cut of your life there they wouldn't do so well. Yes, I paid $50 for my cut and it was money well spent because my hair has never managed so well as it did this morning. Thanks Bobby!

PARIS. If I were the owners of HBI I would very quickly discharge the childish brat "Flowerchild70" for her poor attitude and for taking it upon herself to write a public review insulting clients. Clients, whether good or bad, are still just that, clients. They pay the bills and keep the business running. I began reading the reviews out of curiousity. I have heard that HBI is high priced and simply not for the common working person. Flowerchild70 just proven that to me. What a snobby little Paris Hilton wanna be. SAD!

very professional salon. Hair Benders is one of the most professional salons I have ever been to. Voula is exceptional in her service. Any negative comments must be from ex-employees who didn't have what it takes to work there. Because --from what I have seen -only the best of the best make the cut. Voula's prices are very reasonable and she does great cuts and beautiful color. Hair Benders has many great stylist to choose from. DOn't let a few angry haters influence any opinion you have about Hair Benders. The employees are very friendly and truly care about their clients-I have a great relationship with VOula and several of the stylists there. The employees at Hair Benders respect their clients and know that if it wasn't for their clients support they would not be where they are today.

wrong attitude. as a stylist, i cannot believe another stylist wrote all that horrible stuff about clients. just to let you know you are wrong!!!! i have very personal relationships with my clients, and love them all, that's what makes me look forward to going to my job everyday!!!! they are not just $$ signs to me nor anyone i work with, they are people who trust us for our creativity and to open up to us while they are there. it would be pretty awkward if everyone came in and didn't say a word, paid their money, left, and came back every six weeks and we didn't know or care anything about them!!!!! but then again thats why when i get a client from hb they don't have the best to say, so i usually earn their trust and they end up being a consistent, pleased client that does not talk behind my back because they have no reason to!!!!! so for you and everyone else who has read this, we are not all monsters, and i would think harder about choosing your salon!!!!!
